What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Jersey Mikes's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must have all promotional materials approved by the company. This includes newspapers, radio and television advertising, direct mail advertising, and specialty items like novelty items, containers, and boxes.

To get approval, a Jersey Mikes franchisee must submit the advertising or promotional materials to the company for review. Jersey Mikes has fifteen days from receipt of the materials to either approve or disapprove them in writing. If the franchisee does not receive written approval or disapproval within that 15-day period, the materials are considered disapproved.

This means a franchisee cannot use any advertising or promotional items unless Jersey Mikes has explicitly approved them for use. This process ensures that all advertising and promotional efforts align with the brand standards and marketing strategies of Jersey Mikes.
