What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Jersey Mikes Franchise Disclosure Document, the term "Franchisee" is used to refer to the Jersey Mikes franchisee within the context of the addendum. The addendum modifies the Franchise Agreement between Jersey Mikes (the Franchisor) and the franchisee, outlining specific conditions and modifications related to the franchise operation.
The document specifies that the recitals within the addendum are agreed upon by both the Franchisor and the Franchisee, indicating that both parties are bound by the terms and conditions outlined. This includes agreements related to the opening date of the restaurant and potential waivers of fees based on meeting specific criteria.
Therefore, when reviewing the Jersey Mikes 2025 FDD, prospective franchisees should note that they will be legally referred to as the "Franchisee" in any addendums or modifications to the standard franchise agreement.
