What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Jack In The Box's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Tables 1 and 3, which present historical financial performance data for franchised restaurants, specifically exclude restaurants located in Hawaii and Guam. This exclusion affects the representation of 1,831 franchised restaurants in 2023 and 1,786 in 2024.

In 2023, thirty (30) restaurants operated in Hawaii/Guam were excluded from the data used to compile Tables 1 and 3. Similarly, in 2024, thirty-one (31) restaurants in Hawaii/Guam were excluded. The FDD provides this specific number of excluded restaurants, allowing potential franchisees to understand the scope of the data presented and its limitations.

This exclusion means that the financial performance data presented in Tables 1 and 3 may not be representative of the potential performance of a Jack In The Box restaurant in Hawaii or Guam. A prospective franchisee considering opening a location in these territories should recognize that the data provided is specific to restaurants in the continental U.S. and may not accurately reflect local market conditions, costs, or consumer behavior in Hawaii or Guam. Therefore, it is essential for potential franchisees to conduct their own independent research and due diligence to assess the viability of a Jack In The Box franchise in these areas.
