We will set up an Instagram account (which we will own) for your Salon. You must regularly post content in accordance with our guidelines and regulations, including the following:
- you must strictly comply with our social media policy, as revised from time to time
- we must approve all content prior to posting (you must immediately remove any post we disapprove)
- you must, upon our request, contract with and utilize a social media company we designate
Except as discussed above with respect to your Salon's Instagram account, we retain complete control over all social media accounts.

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Itan will set up an Instagram account for your Salon, but the company retains ownership of the account. As a franchisee, you are required to post content regularly, adhering to Itan's social media policy, which may be revised periodically. All content must be approved by Itan before posting, and any disapproved content must be removed immediately.
Importantly, Itan reserves the right to direct you to contract with and utilize a social media company that they designate. This means that, at Itan's request, you may be obligated to hire a specific social media company to manage your Salon's Instagram account.
Outside of the Instagram account managed under these conditions, Itan retains complete control over all other social media accounts related to the brand. This highlights the importance of adhering to Itan's guidelines and directives regarding social media management for your franchise.
