What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Itan has the authority to modify the approved menu and the goods and services offered by franchisees. The FDD states that Itan must approve all goods and services a franchisee sells, and franchisees must offer all goods and services that Itan requires. Franchisees are prohibited from selling any goods or services that Itan has disapproved.

The FDD emphasizes that franchisees must strictly adhere to Itan's approved menu and menu system and present the menu offerings in the manner that Itan designates. This means that franchisees do not have the autonomy to deviate from the established menu or presentation standards set by Itan.

Importantly, Itan retains the right to change the goods and services that franchisees sell at any time, and franchisees are obligated to comply with these changes. This provision grants Itan significant control over the offerings at each franchise location, allowing them to adapt to market trends, introduce new services, or discontinue underperforming items across the Itan system. Franchisees must also participate in any gift card or customer loyalty programs that Itan implements.
