What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, before Itan issues a Certificate of Conversion Completion, a franchisee must purchase and install all required equipment, furniture, fixtures, decorations, and signage. This is a crucial step in ensuring the premises meet Itan's standards and specifications before commencing operations as an Itan Salon.

This requirement ensures uniformity and adherence to the brand's image and operational standards. By mandating specific purchases and installations, Itan aims to maintain a consistent customer experience across all franchise locations. This also allows Itan to control the quality and presentation of its salons, protecting its brand reputation and goodwill.

For a prospective franchisee, this means allocating sufficient capital for these required purchases and installations. It is essential to understand the full scope of these requirements during the initial stages of planning and budgeting. Franchisees should work closely with Itan to ensure compliance and to avoid any delays in obtaining the Certificate of Conversion Completion, which is necessary to begin operating as an Itan Salon.
