What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Itan will provide franchisees with written specifications for the goods and services that they must purchase in order to develop, equip, and operate their Salon. Itan will also provide a list of approved suppliers. This is part of the assistance Itan provides before the Salon opens.

These specifications are further detailed in the manual, which includes standards for the design, layout, equipping, and trade dress of the Salon. Franchisees are required to hire a licensed and bonded architect to prepare initial design plans that align with Itan's system standards. These plans must then be submitted to Itan for approval.

After approval, the architect must create detailed construction plans that meet Itan's standards, specifications in the manual, and all applicable legal requirements. Franchisees are obligated to construct and equip their salons according to these approved plans and the manual's requirements, including purchasing or leasing the necessary technology systems, equipment, fixtures, and signs.
