What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, onsite training occurs at the franchisee's salon immediately before and during the salon's opening. This onsite training lasts for approximately 5 days. During this time, a designated Itan trainer will observe the salon's operations and provide assistance during the opening phase.

This onsite training is part of Itan's initial training program, which also includes remote training stages and hands-on training in San Diego, California. The Managing Owner is required to complete the initial training program to Itan's satisfaction at least 2 weeks before the salon opens.

For prospective Itan franchisees, this means they should expect a trainer to be present at their salon to provide support and guidance as they launch their business. This can be a valuable resource for ensuring a smooth opening and adherence to Itan's operational standards. However, franchisees should also be prepared for the costs associated with travel and wages for themselves and their trainees during all phases of training.
