What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, during the operation of your Salon, Itan may, but does not have to, conduct periodic field visits to provide onsite consultation, assistance, and guidance pertaining to the operation and management of the Salon. This means that while Itan may visit your salon to offer advice and support, they are not obligated to do so regularly.
For a prospective franchisee, this implies that you cannot rely on regular, scheduled visits from Itan for operational support. The frequency and occurrence of these visits are at Itan's discretion. This could be a crucial factor to consider, especially if you are a new franchisee who anticipates needing frequent guidance.
Given this discretionary approach, it is important for potential franchisees to proactively seek support and training from Itan. Franchisees should utilize the initial and ongoing training programs, as well as any other resources provided by Itan, to ensure they are operating the salon in compliance with the franchise agreement and manual. If additional support is needed, franchisees can request it, although Itan is not required to fulfill such requests. Understanding the level of support you can expect and planning accordingly is essential for the success of your Itan franchise.
