What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program includes different components. The in-person training consists of 40 hours of classroom training in San Diego, California. This hands-on training takes place at a designated training facility, which is currently a franchised salon.
In addition to the in-person training, Itan provides remote training in two stages. Each remote training stage includes online courses via iTAN University and 12 hours of live virtual coaching sessions. There is also onsite training consisting of approximately 5 days at the franchisee's salon, immediately before and through the opening date.
It is important to note that Itan may require the Managing Owner and general managers to attend refresher or supplemental training courses. The franchisee is responsible for all wages and travel expenses incurred for training. Itan may also charge a training fee of up to $300 per person per day for retraining, remedial training, or additional training requested by the franchisee.
