What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all mandatory provisions within the Itan Brand Standards Manual are binding on the franchisee. The manual is designed to protect Itan's brand standards and ensure uniformity and quality across all salon locations.
The manual may include architectural plans, specifications for salon design, lists of approved suppliers, descriptions of services and merchandise, operating procedures, and policies related to reporting, accounting, insurance, marketing, data protection, and other relevant matters. Itan has the right to modify the manual at any time, and these modifications become effective upon notification to the franchisee, although a grace period may be provided for implementation.
As a franchisee, it is crucial to stay informed of any changes to the manual and to ensure full compliance with all mandatory provisions to maintain the goodwill associated with the Itan brand. The manual can consist of written text, videos, tutorials, training modules, recordings and/or other means of communication.
