Where is the Itan initial training program's certified training facility located?
Itan Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
This estimates the Travel Expenses and other costs you will incur to complete our initial training program, which includes: (a) 2 weeks of remote training; (b) 5 days of training at a certified iTAN training facility in San Diego, California; and (c) 5 days of onsite training conducted at your Studio at the time you open. The low estimate assumes only your Managing Owner completes initial training. If you choose to hire a general manager, your general manager must also complete initial training. The high estimate assumes initial training is completed by your Managing Owner and 1 general manager. Your actual training expenses may vary depending on: (a) the number of people you send to training; (b) the distance they must travel; and (c) the level and quality of accommodations, travel and dining selected. The high estimate also includes pre-opening payroll for your general manager during our training program.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a portion of the initial training program takes place at a certified training facility located in San Diego, California. Specifically, the initial training program consists of three parts: two weeks of remote training, five days of training at the certified facility, and five days of on-site training at the franchisee's studio when it opens.
The FDD also states that the initial training expenses, estimated between $2,500 and $9,500, cover the costs associated with completing the training program. This estimate includes travel expenses and other costs. The lower end of the estimate assumes only the Managing Owner completes the training, while the higher end accounts for both the Managing Owner and a general manager attending.
Prospective Itan franchisees should consider that the actual training expenses may fluctuate based on the number of attendees, travel distance, and the quality of accommodations chosen. If a franchisee decides to hire a general manager, their pre-opening payroll during the training program is also factored into the higher estimate. Therefore, franchisees need to budget accordingly, considering these variables to ensure they are adequately prepared for the initial training investment.
