What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are solely responsible for the acquisition, operation, maintenance, updating, and upgrading of their Technology Systems. This includes ensuring that the Technology Systems integrate and interface properly with Itan's computer system and those of third parties.

Itan franchisees bear the responsibility for any consequences resulting from improper use or operation, or failure to properly maintain, update, or upgrade, Technology Systems. This means that if a franchisee fails to keep their Technology Systems in good working order, they will be held liable for any resulting issues.

This requirement is critical for maintaining the integrity and consistency of Itan's System across all franchise locations. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the costs and responsibilities associated with maintaining these Technology Systems, as failure to do so could have significant repercussions for their business operations.
