What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, hands-on training typically occurs about one month before the salon opens. However, Itan retains the right to change the timing of the training. This hands-on training takes place at a designated training facility in San Diego, California, which is currently a franchised salon.

Prior to the hands-on training in San Diego, trainees must complete Stage 1 of remote training. Stage 2 of remote training typically begins after the hands-on portion, but Itan can adjust the order of training at its discretion. The Managing Owner is required to successfully complete initial training to Itan's satisfaction at least two weeks before the salon's opening.

In addition to the hands-on training, Itan also provides onsite training at the franchisee's salon. This onsite training includes approximately five days of training that takes place immediately prior to and through the salon's opening date. During this time, a designated trainer will monitor operations and assist with the salon's opening. This comprehensive training schedule ensures that franchisees and their managers are well-prepared to launch and operate their Itan salon.
