What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not required to hire professionals to review the Disclosure Document or negotiate the Franchise Agreement. However, Itan highly recommends that franchisees obtain professional assistance. Item 7 includes an estimated cost for professional fees.

The estimated initial investment includes $1,500 to $3,000 for professional fees. These fees cover assistance in reviewing the Disclosure Document, negotiating the Franchise Agreement, advising on local laws, forming a business entity, setting up books and records, and developing a business plan. These services are listed as optional, but Itan recommends them.

While not mandatory, engaging professionals can help franchisees make informed decisions and navigate the complexities of starting a business. Franchisees should consider budgeting for these costs to ensure they receive adequate support during the initial stages of establishing their Itan salon.
