According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at periodic conferences is mandatory for franchisees unless Itan designates attendance as optional or waives the attendance obligation due to a showing of good cause. Itan may charge a conference registration fee of up to $400 per person per conference.

Even if a franchisee fails to attend a required conference without obtaining a waiver, they are still responsible for the conference registration fee. Additionally, the franchisee is responsible for the wages and travel expenses incurred by themselves and their personnel to attend these conferences.

Itan also offers additional training programs. Itan may charge a training fee of up to $300 per person per day for individuals who retake training after failing a prior attempt, attend remedial training, or attend additional training requested by the franchisee.
