What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must strictly adhere to the brand's approved menu and menu system. This means that an Itan franchisee is required to offer only those goods and services that Itan approves and must offer all goods and services that Itan requires. The franchisee cannot sell any goods or services that Itan has disapproved. Furthermore, the franchisee must present the menu offerings in the manner that Itan designates.

This requirement ensures consistency across all Itan franchise locations, maintaining brand uniformity and customer expectations. It also allows Itan to control the quality and types of services offered under its brand name. Itan retains the right to change the goods and services offered at any time, and the franchisee is obligated to comply with these changes.

For a prospective franchisee, this means limited flexibility in customizing the menu or service offerings. While franchisees can suggest improvements, the final decision rests with Itan. Franchisees need to be prepared to adapt to changes in the approved menu and presentation as directed by Itan to maintain uniformity across all franchise locations.
