Websites, Social Media and Digital Advertising
We will maintain a corporate website to promote our brand. We will also create and host a local webpage to promote your Salon, which will be linked to our corporate website. Your webpage will list certain information about your Salon, such as address, contact information and hours of operation. We can modify or discontinue our website and/or your local webpage at any time.
Except for the webpage we provide, you may not: (a) develop, host, or otherwise maintain a website or other digital presence relating to your Salon (including any website bearing any of our Marks); (b) utilize the Internet to conduct digital or online advertising; or (c) engage in ecommerce.
We will set up an Instagram account (which we will own) for your Salon. You must regularly post content in accordance with our guidelines and regulations, including the following:

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally prohibited from conducting digital or online advertising using the internet, with the exception of the webpage that Itan provides. Itan maintains a corporate website to promote the brand and will also create and host a local webpage to promote the franchisee's salon, which will be linked to the corporate website.
Specifically, franchisees are not allowed to develop, host, or maintain their own websites or other digital presences related to their salon, including those using Itan's trademarks. They are also restricted from using the internet for digital or online advertising and engaging in e-commerce activities.
Itan will set up an Instagram account for the franchisee's salon, which Itan will own. The franchisee is required to regularly post content to this account according to Itan's guidelines and regulations. This setup allows Itan to maintain control over the brand's online presence while still providing franchisees with a platform to promote their individual locations.
