What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Conversion Addendum to the Franchise Agreement may be executed in counterparts. This means that the addendum can be signed in multiple identical copies, which together constitute a single agreement.
For a prospective Itan franchisee, this allows for flexibility in the signing process. Each party can sign a separate copy of the addendum, and these copies, when combined, form the complete and legally binding document. This can be particularly useful when the parties are geographically separated or have different signing schedules.
It is important to note that while the addendum can be executed in counterparts, all the counterparts together constitute one and the same document. This ensures that all parties are bound by the same terms and conditions, regardless of which specific copy they signed.
