Does the Itan Financial Performance Representation (FPR) include all operating expenses a franchisee will incur?

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Financial Performance Representation (FPR) does not include all operating expenses that a franchisee will incur. The FPR includes limited expense information. Itan specifies that franchisees will incur additional expenses beyond those listed in the FPR. These additional expenses include insurance, session consumables, admin & supplies, maintenance & repairs, professional fees, technology, business property tax, and utilities, as well as initial and ongoing fees imposed under the Franchise Agreement.

Itan's FPR includes 'Selected Operating Expenses' such as credit card processing, electricity and gas, labor, marketing, and rent. Labor includes employee recruitment, training, uniforms, payroll (salaries, wages, bonuses, commissions), payroll benefits, payroll processing fees, payroll tax, and workers' compensation, but excludes the annual salary for the District Manager and distributions/personal payments to the business owner. Rent includes rent and triple net lease (NNN) costs.

Prospective franchisees should be aware that the expenses listed in Item 19 are not exhaustive. It is crucial for potential franchisees to consult with financial advisors to develop their own comprehensive estimates of all expenses and revenue for their Itan salon. This will allow for a more realistic understanding of the potential profitability and financial obligations associated with operating an Itan franchise.
