What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to reimburse Itan for all costs the company incurs to cure a default. These default reimbursements are due 10 days after the invoice date.
This means that if an Itan franchisee fails to meet the obligations outlined in the Franchise Agreement or adhere to Itan's brand standards, Itan has the right to take corrective actions on behalf of the franchisee. The costs associated with these actions, such as paying suppliers, maintaining insurance, or meeting quality standards, will then be invoiced to the franchisee.
The franchisee is then obligated to pay the invoiced amount within 10 days. Failure to do so could result in additional penalties or legal action. This policy ensures that Itan can maintain its brand standards and operational integrity, while also holding franchisees accountable for their compliance with the franchise agreement.
