What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, company-owned salons are eligible to be members of the advisory council. The advisory council's purpose is to provide suggestions to Itan to improve the system, including marketing, operations, and new product or service suggestions. Itan is not bound by the council's suggestions but will consider them in good faith.

As a franchisee, you have the right to be a member of the council as long as you comply with your Franchise Agreement and do not act in a disruptive, abusive, or counter-productive manner, as determined by Itan. Each member, including company-owned salons, is granted one vote on all matters the members are authorized to vote on.

Itan retains the power to form, change, or dissolve the advisory council at its discretion. This means that while franchisees have the opportunity to participate in the advisory council, Itan ultimately controls its existence and structure.
