- 11.2. Brand Standards Manual. You must develop and operate your Salon in strict compliance with the Manual. The Manual may contain, among other things:
- (c) a description of the tanning and spray-on tanning services, beauty and wellness services, merchandise, retail items and other goods and services you may sell;

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Standards Manual does include a description of the tanning and spray-on tanning services that an Itan franchisee may sell. Specifically, the manual will contain a description of the tanning and spray-on tanning services, beauty and wellness services, merchandise, retail items, and other goods and services a franchisee is allowed to sell.
The manual also contains architectural plans and specifications for the design, dimensions, layout, equipping, and trade dress for a prototype Salon. It also lists the goods and services (or specifications for goods and services) that franchisees must purchase to develop and operate their Salon, including designated and approved suppliers.
It is important to note that Itan can modify the Brand Standards Manual at any time, and these modifications become binding once the franchisee is notified. The manual is designed to establish and protect Itan's brand standards and ensure uniformity and quality across all franchise locations. The manual may consist of written text, videos, tutorials, training modules, recordings, and other means of communication.
