Besides the financial performance representation mentioned, does Itan authorize any other financial performance representations?
Itan Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Other than the preceding financial performance representation, we do not make any financial performance representations. We also do not authorize our employees or representatives to make any such representations either orally or in writing. If you are purchasing an existing outlet, however, we may provide you with the actual records of that outlet. If you receive any other financial performance information or projections of your future income, you should report it to the franchisor's management by contacting Faraje Kharsa at 1784 La Costa Meadows Dr., #101, San Marcos, California 92078 (or by phone at 760-806-7513), the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Itan's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Item 19 clarifies the extent to which Itan provides financial performance representations. Besides the specific financial performance representation outlined in Item 19, Itan does not authorize any other financial performance representations. This means Itan does not allow its employees or representatives to make any additional financial claims, either verbally or in writing, beyond what is presented in the FDD.
However, there are a couple of exceptions to this rule. If a prospective franchisee is considering purchasing an existing Itan outlet, Itan may provide the actual financial records of that specific outlet. Additionally, Itan can supplement the information in Item 19 by providing details about potential performance at a particular location or under specific circumstances.
The FDD emphasizes that if a potential franchisee receives any financial performance information or projections of future income from sources other than the official Item 19 or the exceptions noted above, they should report it to Itan's management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies. This is to protect prospective franchisees from unauthorized or misleading financial claims.
