What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Hyper Kidz Franchise Disclosure Document, Hyper Kidz may require franchisees to undergo additional training or assistance under certain circumstances. Specifically, Hyper Kidz can determine that a franchisee requires additional training based on factors such as the results of inspections they conduct or guidance the franchisee requests from them.

If Hyper Kidz determines that additional training or assistance is needed, the franchisee is responsible for covering all associated expenses. These expenses include the then-current per diem fee for each trainer sent to the franchisee's Hyper Kidz Business, as well as reimbursement for the trainer's expenses, such as travel, lodging, and meals.

This clause in the franchise agreement highlights the importance of maintaining standards and operational quality within the Hyper Kidz franchise system. While franchisees have the option to request additional training, Hyper Kidz also retains the right to mandate it, ensuring consistent brand standards and customer experience across all locations. This could be particularly relevant for franchisees who may be struggling with certain aspects of the business or who need to adapt to new operational procedures or technologies introduced by the franchisor.
