What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Hyper Kidz's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program does include training on managing social media. The training program includes 2 hours of classroom training and 3 hours of on-the-job training in Columbia, MD.
Hyper Kidz franchisees are not permitted to promote their businesses or use any of the Marks on any social or networking websites without prior written consent from Hyper Kidz. Hyper Kidz will control all social media initiatives. Franchisees must comply with Hyper Kidz System Standards regarding the use of social media in their Hyper Kidz Business's operation, including prohibitions on posting or blogging comments about the Hyper Kidz Business or the System, other than on a website established or authorized by Hyper Kidz.
Hyper Kidz will provide access to branded social media pages/handles/assets, and franchisees must update these regularly. Hyper Kidz has the right to conduct collective/national campaigns via local social media on the franchisee's behalf. Hyper Kidz reserves the right to revoke a franchisee's ability to use social media and/or to maintain a social media website.
