What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Hyper Kidz's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a training fee of $7,500. This fee covers the initial training program for up to three trainees. These trainees typically include the franchisee (or one of their principals), the general manager, and one additional trainee.
The training fee is payable when the franchisee schedules attendance at the initial training program. It is important to note that this fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the training is completed or not. If the franchisee wishes to send additional trainees beyond the initial three, they will be required to pay Hyper Kidz's then-current training fee for each additional person.
Franchisees are also responsible for covering all travel and living expenses incurred by themselves and their personnel during the initial and any subsequent training programs. These expenses include, but are not limited to, travel, lodging, meals, and applicable wages. Hyper Kidz will not compensate training attendees for any incidental services performed in connection with the training.
