Does Hyper Kidz have the right to communicate directly with the General Manager of a franchise?
Hyper_Kidz Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
No later than 60 days before the date your Hyper Kidz Business begins operation, you (or one of your Principals), your General Manager and one additional trainee (for a maximum of three people) must attend and complete, to our satisfaction, our mandatory initial training program. Training will be conducted at our Affiliate's Hyper Kidz Business in Columbia, Maryland, at our headquarters, or at another location we designate. Initial training programs will be offered at various times during the year depending on the number of new franchisees entering the System, replacement general managers and other personnel needing training, the number of new Hyper Kidz Businesses being opened and the timing of the scheduled openings of Hyper Kidz Businesses. There is currently no set schedule for providing our training program. We may train more than one franchisee and their General Managers at the same training session.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Hyper Kidz Franchise Disclosure Document, Hyper Kidz has the right to communicate directly with the General Manager of a franchise. As part of the initial training program, the franchisee, the General Manager, and one additional trainee must attend and complete the mandatory initial training program to Hyper Kidz's satisfaction. This indicates that Hyper Kidz will interact directly with the General Manager during the training process.
Furthermore, during the operation of the Hyper Kidz Business, Hyper Kidz will furnish guidance to the franchisee regarding various aspects of the business, including specifications, standards, operating procedures, purchasing approved equipment, local marketing, and administrative procedures. This guidance is provided through various channels, including written materials like email, periodic telephonic consultations, or consultations at Hyper Kidz's offices or the franchisee's location. Since the General Manager is responsible for the daily operations, it is implied that Hyper Kidz may communicate directly with the General Manager to provide this guidance.
Hyper Kidz also requires that the franchisee maintain equipment, lines, and communication methods accessible to them at all times. This accessibility ensures that Hyper Kidz can communicate effectively with the franchise location, which would likely involve communication with the General Manager. Therefore, a prospective franchisee should expect that Hyper Kidz will communicate directly with their General Manager on matters related to training, operations, and compliance with the franchise agreement.
