Training Fee: You must pay us a training fee equal to $7,500 when you schedule your trainees to attend our initial training program. We will train up to three people for the training fee. If you wish to send additional trainees to our initial training program, you must pay an additional training fee of $1,500 per person. What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Hyper Kidz's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the standard training fee of $7,500 covers the training of up to three people. This includes the franchisee (or one of their principals), the general manager, and one additional trainee. This initial training is mandatory and must be completed to Hyper Kidz's satisfaction before the Hyper Kidz Business can open. The training takes place no later than 60 days before the business's opening at the Hyper Kidz headquarters, an affiliate's location, or another designated site.
If a franchisee wishes to send more than three people to the initial training program, they must pay an additional training fee of $1,500 per person. The franchisee is also responsible for covering all expenses incurred by the trainees during training, such as travel, lodging, meals, and any applicable wages. These additional costs can add a significant expense to the initial investment, so franchisees should factor this into their budget when planning their training program.
Hyper Kidz also offers additional on-site training at the franchisee's location, but this comes at an additional per diem fee, plus reimbursement of expenses for the trainer. Hyper Kidz may also require additional training based on inspections or franchisee requests for guidance, with all associated costs borne by the franchisee. While Hyper Kidz does not anticipate refresher training programs, they may hold franchisee meetings, potentially with mandatory attendance for the franchisee and/or general manager, where additional training may be provided.
