What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Hyper Kidz's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the instructional materials used in the initial training program include the Hyper Kidz Manual, marketing and promotion materials, programs related to the operation of the computer system, and any other materials that Hyper Kidz believes will be beneficial to its franchisees in the training process.
The initial training is mandatory for the franchisee (or one of their principals), the general manager, and one additional trainee. This training must be completed to Hyper Kidz's satisfaction no later than 60 days before the Hyper Kidz Business begins operation. The training is conducted at Hyper Kidz's Affiliate's Hyper Kidz Business in Columbia, Maryland, at their headquarters, or at another location they designate.
Franchisees are responsible for the expenses incurred by themselves and their trainees while attending training, including travel, lodging, meals, and applicable wages. If the franchisee (or one of their principals) does not satisfactorily complete the initial training program, they will be given an opportunity to retake the training program at their expense. Failure to satisfactorily complete the training program a second time may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement.
