What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Hyper Kidz's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company considers several demographic characteristics when evaluating a potential site for a new franchise. These include the number of households, income levels, and overall population in the area surrounding the proposed location. This information helps Hyper Kidz assess the potential customer base and the financial viability of the site. Franchisees are responsible for finding a site that meets Hyper Kidz's approval.

In addition to demographic factors, Hyper Kidz also evaluates other characteristics of the proposed site. These include traffic patterns, parking availability, the nature of the surrounding neighborhood, and competition from similar businesses, including existing Hyper Kidz locations. The franchisor also considers the purchase price or lease terms, the size of the premises, its appearance, and other physical characteristics. These factors contribute to a comprehensive assessment of the site's suitability for a Hyper Kidz Business.

Prospective franchisees should understand that Hyper Kidz must give written acceptance of any proposed site. Franchisees must submit all required information and materials, including demographic and commercial data, within 180 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. Hyper Kidz then has 30 days to approve or disapprove the site. Failure to secure an approved site within the specified timeframe could lead to termination of the Franchise Agreement, so it is crucial to work closely with Hyper Kidz during the site selection process.
