What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Hyper Kidz's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training fee for new or replacement employees is $1,500. This fee is due 15 days after billing. The initial franchise training covers up to three people.
If a Hyper Kidz franchisee wants to send additional employees to the initial training program, or if new or replacement employees need training during the franchise agreement term, the franchisee must pay the $1,500 training fee.
In addition to the training fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering the trainees' expenses. These expenses include travel, lodging, meals, and wages for the employees attending the training. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as the franchisor is covering the direct cost of the training program itself, while the franchisee bears the costs of getting their personnel to and from the training.
