What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Hyper Kidz Franchise Disclosure Document, Hyper Kidz will consult with franchisees to develop a grand opening advertising campaign for the franchisee's Hyper Kidz Business.
The FDD states that franchisees must spend at least $5,000 on a grand opening advertising campaign to promote their Hyper Kidz Business. This campaign must include elements required by Hyper Kidz, such as direct mail campaigns and giveaways. The campaign must be conducted within the period that includes 12 weeks before and 12 weeks after the opening of the Hyper Kidz Business.
Hyper Kidz retains the right to collect some or all of the franchisee's grand opening funds and/or local advertising expenditure to implement grand opening campaign activities and/or local advertising on the franchisee's behalf. Additionally, any advertising or marketing materials prepared by or for the franchisee, or not approved by Hyper Kidz in the preceding 12 months, must be submitted to Hyper Kidz for approval at least 14 days before use. If specific approval is not provided within this 14-day period, the materials are deemed unapproved.
