What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Hyper Kidz's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, once Hyper Kidz approves the location for your franchised business, they will designate the boundaries of your Designated Territory. This territory is defined around the approved site.
Understanding the boundaries of your designated territory is crucial for several reasons. It defines the geographic area where you can primarily focus your marketing efforts and expect to attract customers. It also clarifies the area where Hyper Kidz will likely not grant another franchise, thus protecting your market share. The size and demographic characteristics of the Designated Territory will significantly impact your business's potential revenue and growth.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review the method by which Hyper Kidz determines the boundaries of the Designated Territory. Factors such as population density, household income, and the presence of competing businesses could influence the territory's potential. It is important to discuss with Hyper Kidz how these factors are considered and to understand the long-term potential of the assigned territory before signing the Franchise Agreement.
