What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must open and be operational within 30 days of receiving their HydroDog Vehicle. However, this timeframe is subject to potential extensions granted at Hydrodog's discretion if unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond the franchisee's control arise. Failure to open within the required time, without an approved extension, may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement.

Several factors can affect the time it takes to open a Hydrodog business, including HydroDog Vehicle and equipment availability, shipping delays, custom orders, the franchisee's ability to obtain financing, securing necessary business permits and licenses, scheduling initial training, taking delivery of required equipment, and hiring employees. These factors highlight the importance of careful planning and preparation by the franchisee to ensure timely compliance with the opening requirements.

Prospective Hydrodog franchisees should be aware of these requirements and consider the potential challenges that could delay their opening. It is crucial to maintain open communication with Hydrodog and proactively address any issues that may arise during the pre-opening phase. Understanding the conditions under which an extension may be granted is also essential for managing expectations and mitigating potential risks.
