Under what conditions is a Hydrodog franchisee required to pay for the Initial Tools Package?

According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is required to pay for the Initial Tools Package under specific conditions related to their grooming experience. If a prospective Hydrodog franchisee has less than 5 years of grooming experience, or if they are not a certified groomer, they are required to pay a fee of $2,500 for the Initial Tools Package.
