What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may request additional training or assistance under specific circumstances. If a Hydrodog franchisee or their staff do not meet the franchisor's performance or compliance standards, additional training may be required. Alternatively, a franchisee can also request additional training or assistance, which Hydrodog may agree to provide.

This additional training or assistance from Hydrodog may be conducted on-site within the franchisee's territory, online, at the franchisor's location, or at another designated location. However, this additional training comes at a cost. The franchisee is responsible for paying Hydrodog's then-current fee for additional training, which will not exceed $500 per trainer per day.

In addition to the training fees, the Hydrodog franchisee must also cover the travel and living expenses for each trainer providing the additional support. This financial responsibility underscores the importance of ensuring that initial training is comprehensive and that ongoing performance meets Hydrodog's standards to avoid incurring these extra costs.
