What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to HydroDog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you plan to be an individual owner/operator, you must first complete training as a professional dog groomer before attending HydroDog's Initial Training program. This grooming training can be achieved through one of three methods.
The first option is to complete an approved certification program. The second option is to participate in an apprenticeship program lasting between one and three months. Lastly, you can attend a third-party dog grooming academy or school that HydroDog approves.
It is important to note that completing one of these programs is a prerequisite and separate from HydroDog's Initial Training. Franchisees should confirm with HydroDog which certification programs, apprenticeship programs, and grooming academies meet their approval.
