ur "System Standards"). A key to the development, operation, franchising and success of the HydroDog Businesses is the use of our System. The "System" includes, but is not limited to, distinctive designs, layouts, color schemes and signs, equipment, inventory, marketing methods, service requirements, standards and specifications, products, inventory, and suppliers; rules; training and assistance; and other methods and procedures relating to the establishment and operation of a HydroDog Business.
We use, promote and license in the operation of HydroDog Businesses certain trademarks, service marks and other commercial symbols, including the trade and service mark "HydroDog" and other assorted associated logos, designs, and commercial symbols (collectively, the "Marks").

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'System' includes the website. The FDD specifies that Hydrodog uses certain copyrighted information in the operation of HydroDog Businesses, including its website.
Additionally, Hydrodog retains the exclusive right, but not the obligation, to establish and maintain a website managed by HydroDog web designers. This website may promote the Proprietary Marks, Products, Services, HydroDog businesses, the franchising of HydroDog Businesses, and/or the System, including managing the resource center, store, and vendor list. Hydrodog has sole control over all aspects of the website, including its design, content, functionality, links, legal notices, policies, and terms of usage, and also has the right to discontinue the website's operation.
While Hydrodog may designate a web page to describe a franchisee's HydroDog Business within their website, franchisees must comply with Hydrodog's policies regarding the creation, maintenance, and content of such pages. Franchisees are generally prohibited from establishing their own separate websites or online presence related to their HydroDog Business without prior written approval from Hydrodog. Any approved franchisee website is considered advertising and subject to Hydrodog's approval.
