ur "System Standards"). A key to the development, operation, franchising and success of the HydroDog Businesses is the use of our System. The "System" includes, but is not limited to, distinctive designs, layouts, color schemes and signs, equipment, inventory, marketing methods, service requirements, standards and specifications, products, inventory, and suppliers; rules; training and assistance; and other methods and procedures relating to the establishment and operation of a HydroDog Business.
We use, promote and license in the operation of HydroDog Businesses certain trademarks, service marks and other commercial symbols, including the trade and service mark "HydroDog" and other assorted associated logos, designs, and commercial symbols (collectively, the "Marks").

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'System' includes vendor lists. The Hydrodog System incorporates distinctive designs, layouts, color schemes, signs, equipment, inventory, marketing methods, service requirements, standards and specifications, products, inventory, and suppliers. Hydrodog also uses information capable of being rendered into tangible form that they claim as their copyrights, including vendor lists.
Hydrodog will provide franchisees with a list of approved manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors of Operating Assets and Business Materials, which Hydrodog may modify from time to time. Franchisees can only purchase materials and inventory for their HydroDog Business from Approved Suppliers. Purchasing materials and inventory from suppliers that are not Approved Suppliers is grounds for default and/or termination of the Franchise Agreement.
Hydrodog may take into consideration factors such as quality, warranty and prices when approving types, models, brands and suppliers, manufacturers, distributors or service providers. Hydrodog may approve one or a limited number of suppliers, manufacturers, distributors or service providers in order to obtain lower prices or materials of a more uniform and/or higher quality. Hydrodog also has the exclusive right, but not the obligation, to establish and maintain a Website, which shall be managed by HydroDog web designers and may, without limitation, promote the Proprietary Marks, any or all of the Products or Services, HydroDog businesses, the franchising of HydroDog Businesses, and/or the System, including management of the resource center, store, and vendor list.
