What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to HydroDog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, HydroDog retains the right to conduct collective or national campaigns through local social media channels on behalf of its franchisees. This means that HydroDog can implement marketing initiatives across various local social media platforms to promote the brand and its offerings.

For a prospective franchisee, this implies that while they are required to regularly update branded social media pages provided by HydroDog, the franchisor has the authority to manage and execute broader marketing campaigns at the local level. This could involve HydroDog initiating promotions, posting content, or engaging with customers through the franchisee's local social media accounts.

This arrangement ensures brand consistency and allows HydroDog to coordinate marketing efforts effectively across different locations. However, franchisees should be aware that they may not have full control over the content and campaigns run on their local social media accounts, as HydroDog reserves the right to manage these initiatives. Additionally, franchisees are restricted from independently promoting their HydroDog business or using HydroDog's trademarks on social media without prior written consent, further emphasizing HydroDog's control over the brand's online presence.
