What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Hydrodog retains the right to dissolve any advisory council it establishes. This means that Hydrodog has the power to terminate the council at any time, without needing the consent of the franchisees who may be participating in it.
Hydrodog also has the right to establish, change, or merge any advisory council. Furthermore, Hydrodog has the right to remove council members at its discretion. This gives Hydrodog significant control over the advisory council's existence, structure, and membership.
While an advisory council can provide a platform for franchisees to voice their opinions and concerns, it's important to note that, if established, the advisory council acts only in an advisory capacity and does not have any decision-making authority. The council would be governed by bylaws, but Hydrodog's power to dissolve the council or remove members means that the franchisees' influence is ultimately subject to Hydrodog's discretion.
