What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to HydroDog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, you must furnish copies of all required insurance policies to HydroDog before opening your business. Specifically, HydroDog must receive either copies of all required insurance policies or other evidence of insurance coverage and payment of premiums that they request.

This requirement is one of several conditions that must be met before you can open your HydroDog business. Other conditions include HydroDog's approval of your business's development, completion of training, payment of the franchise fee, acquisition of the HydroDog vehicle, and receipt of the Initial Tools Package. If you are a business entity, HydroDog must also approve your managers.

Failure to meet these pre-opening conditions, including providing the required insurance documentation, can delay your opening. According to the FDD, you must open your HydroDog business within 30 days after receiving your HydroDog vehicle, unless unforeseen circumstances warrant an extension. If you fail to open within the required time and no extension is granted, HydroDog may terminate the Franchise Agreement.
