What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Hydrodog has no obligation to reimburse franchisees for any costs related to the Computer System. The franchisee is solely responsible for maintaining the Computer System, keeping it in good repair, and updating or upgrading it as required by Hydrodog during the franchise term.

This means that as a Hydrodog franchisee, you will bear the full financial burden of any maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or updates to the Computer System used in your business. Hydrodog estimates these costs to be between $100 and $1,000 per year for optional or required maintenance, updating, upgrading, or support contracts. However, the document clarifies that this is only an estimate, and there is no contractual limit on the frequency or cost of required upgrades or updates.

Furthermore, Hydrodog retains the right to independently access all information collected, compiled, stored, or generated by the franchisee's Computer System at any time without prior notification. Franchisees must provide Hydrodog with password access to enable data retrieval. This unrestricted access and the franchisee's sole responsibility for all Computer System costs are important factors to consider when evaluating the Hydrodog franchise opportunity.
