What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a technology fee for proprietary software and technology services. This fee covers items such as website listing, data hosting, scheduling system, CRM, workflows, virtual assistant technology, and learning and development resources.

The technology fee is currently structured as $150 per month, plus an additional $99 per month for each HydroDog Vehicle that the franchisee operates. This means a franchisee with one vehicle would pay $249 per month, while a franchisee with two vehicles would pay $348 per month, and so on. The technology fee is due on or before the first Payment Day of each month.

It is important to note that Hydrodog retains the right to increase the technology fee. However, they must provide franchisees with written notice of any such increase at least ninety (90) days in advance. This allows franchisees some time to prepare for the change in expenses. Prospective franchisees should factor in the potential for future increases when assessing the overall cost of operating a Hydrodog franchise.
