What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee of $40,000 for a territory with a population of up to 150,000 people is due in a lump sum payment on the agreement date. This fee is considered fully earned upon receipt and is non-refundable. This means that a prospective Hydrodog franchisee must have the full $40,000 available at the time of signing the franchise agreement.

Hydrodog also offers the possibility of purchasing additional territory rights for areas with populations of up to 50,000 each. The fee for each additional territory is $15,000, also due in a lump sum and non-refundable upon payment. This provides an opportunity for franchisees to expand their operational area, but it also requires additional upfront capital.

It is important to note that all payments and fees due to Hydrodog are non-refundable under any circumstances, including if the franchisee does not open for business or terminates the franchise relationship. This underscores the importance of careful consideration and due diligence before signing the franchise agreement and paying any fees to Hydrodog. Prospective franchisees should ensure they have a solid business plan and are fully committed to the Hydrodog franchise before making any financial commitments.
