What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee is due in a lump sum payment on the Agreement Date. The initial franchise fee is $40,000 for a territory with a population of up to 150,000 people. This fee grants the franchisee the rights to operate a Hydrodog business within the specified territory.
Hydrodog considers the initial franchise fee fully earned upon receipt, and it is non-refundable. This means that once the franchisee pays the fee, Hydrodog has no obligation to return it, regardless of whether the franchisee successfully opens their business or not. In addition to the initial franchise fee, Hydrodog also charges an initial training fee of $5,000 per trainee, which is due at the time the agreement is signed.
