What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Hydrodog does not designate or approve a supplier for the Operating Assets or Business Materials, the franchisee must purchase them in accordance with Hydrodog's System Standards. Hydrodog maintains the right to designate the quantities, models, brands, and inventory levels of Operating Assets and Business Materials.
Hydrodog has the exclusive right to require franchisees to purchase any Operating Assets or Business Materials that bear or display Hydrodog's Marks from Hydrodog or its designated suppliers. Hydrodog may be the sole source supplier of such items at its discretion. Hydrodog will only approve suppliers whose Business Materials and Operating Assets meet the quality standards that Hydrodog establishes.
This means that as a Hydrodog franchisee, you are obligated to acquire all Business Materials and Operating Assets from Hydrodog or suppliers they have previously approved, which may include Hydrodog, its affiliates, or third parties. If Hydrodog does not designate or approve a supplier, you are still required to purchase these items in accordance with Hydrodog's System Standards, ensuring that all materials meet the franchisor's quality and branding requirements.
