What must HydroDog franchisees and their trainees successfully complete before opening their Business?

You and your trainees must successfully complete the HydroDog Academy, as determined in our sole discretion, prior to opening your Business (as described in Section 7.3 of the Franchise Agreement). This includes successfully passing all required assessments designed to evaluate comprehension of training topics. Upon successful completion of the training program and passing of all assessments, you and your trainees will receive a certificate of completion, which may be required for operational approval of your Business. You also must participate in all other activities required to operate your HydroDog Business. You are responsible for all travel, living and compensation expenses which you and your trainees incur in connection with training.

As of the date of this disclosure document, we provide the following initial training:

financing (4) We will schedule Training as needed for new franchisees and you must complete the program at least 30-days before opening your HydroDog Business. We may make all or any portion of training on-line or video based instead of in person.

Training will be conducted by HydroDog corporate representatives or qualified contractors, including Leslie McInnis, who has been a franchisee since 2023 and has 3 years grooming experience. All trainers must possess demonstrated expertise in pet grooming and mobile grooming services;

According to HydroDog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees and their trainees must successfully complete the HydroDog Academy before opening their business. This completion is determined at HydroDog's sole discretion and includes passing all required assessments that evaluate comprehension of the training topics. Upon successful completion of the training program and passing all assessments, franchisees and their trainees will receive a certificate of completion, which may be required for operational approval of their business. Franchisees must also participate in all other activities required to operate their HydroDog Business.

HydroDog will schedule training as needed for new franchisees, and franchisees must complete the program at least 30 days before opening their HydroDog Business. HydroDog may make all or any portion of training online or video based instead of in person. The HydroDog Academy is designed to equip franchisees with essential operational skills needed to run a successful HydroDog franchise through a comprehensive combination of online and on-site training, focusing on daily operations, grooming practices, and customer management.

In addition to completing the HydroDog Academy, franchisees may not open their HydroDog Business until HydroDog approves the business as developed according to their specifications and standards. Franchisees must also pay the Franchise Fee, acquire the HydroDog Vehicle, and receive the Initial Tools Package. If the franchisee is a Business Entity, HydroDog must approve the managers, and the franchisee must demonstrate that the pre-opening conditions of the Franchise Agreement have been met. Finally, HydroDog must receive copies of all required insurance policies or other evidence of insurance coverage and payment of premiums, as well as signed counterparts of all required documents pertaining to the acquisition of the HydroDog Vehicle.
