What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for all taxes associated with their business. Hydrodog will not be liable for any sales, use, alcohol surcharge, service, occupation, excise, gross receipts, income, payroll, property, or other taxes levied on the franchisee or their Hydrodog Business. The franchisee is solely responsible for paying all such taxes.
This means that prospective Hydrodog franchisees need to factor in all applicable taxes when projecting their potential earnings and managing their business finances. It is crucial to consult with a tax professional to understand the specific tax obligations at the federal, state, and local levels. Failing to meet these obligations can result in penalties and legal issues.
Furthermore, Hydrodog requires franchisees to operate their businesses in full compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations. This includes, without limitation, all government regulations relating to withholding and payment of federal and state income taxes, social security taxes, and sales taxes. This reinforces the franchisee's responsibility to handle all tax-related matters diligently and in accordance with the law.
